Laura Lollar’s Speaker Topics:
The Camp Book – Laura and her 93 year old mother co-authored stories from the 1930’s when Marilyn Schickler grew up helping her father build a 3000 sq. foot cabin in Upstate NY. Over the decades the cabin served as a site of family gatherings, clam-bakes, hunting camps, “snipe hunts”, campfire sing-a-longs and countless parties with friends. The stories are humorous and heart-warming, highlighting what life was like when times were simpler.
Wildfires of Change – Laura lost her log cabin home in a Colorado Wildfire. In this presentation she tells the story about their evacuation and recovery along with how others can survive traumatic times and non-negotiable change.
How to Author a Book in 7 Easy Steps – This session is for business leaders, creators and aspiring authors who know they have a book in them, but don’t know the first thing about how to make it come to life. Laura shares how she learned to write the darned thing and leverage tools to create something you can be proud of.
Upcoming books Laura is happy to discuss: Personal Horsepower, Layoff First Aid, Cabin Mama Stories (humor), the Farmer’s Family, the CARLA Concept Communication Model. During the development of these books, audience members can be part of the creative process, contributing to the finished product!
